Hello and welcome!
If you are looking for truly high-grade legal translation from Polish to English or English to Polish, you have come to the right place. I translate court judgments coming down from the highest tiers in the hierarchy; articles and books for legal scholars; pleadings, analyses and memoes (and marketing) for practitioners, as well as all manner of government and corporate stuff for everyone.
In addition to pretty much every field of law and most fields of business (an experienced legal translator for business clients cannot but be an experienced business translator, but I go quite a bit beyond that, having translated texts relating to technology, production, marketing and sales), I translate history, politics, economy and to some extent philosophy and humanities, as well as Catholic theology, ecclesiastic affairs and canon law, down to sermons and conference papers.
Whether you need something translated from Polish into your native (or at least fluent) English or have to reach a Polish audience in their native tongue, I am here to help. I help legal scholars, practitioners and the judiciary, civil servants and business parties (and some others) use their potential more fully by circumventing the limitations imposed by the ‘translation industry’ of today. Less industry, more translation is what I do. I call it ‘brain-assisted translation’ (as opposed to computer, AI, etc.), and although I do use technology, I put more stress on the human component.
The knowledge, skill, care and dedication of a professional translator is not easily replaced by a machine or by a half-professional worker toiling away in a high-tech low-skill sweatshop. For similar reasons as I don’t use machine translation or AGI, I don’t use subcontractors, either. You only ever work with me.
When working with me, I am your one and only contact, so you can discuss everything that relates to your translation directly with your translator, from content to business decisions.
Looking forward to translating for you!
Yours sincerely,
Łukasz Gos-Furmankiewicz
